Those who plan to fly in through Vienna’s Schwechat Airport may stay at the four-star NH Vienna Airport Hotel, located just a stone’s throw away from the airport’s arrival lounge. It is housed in a modern building and equipped with all of the amenities that a contemporary businessman may need. A wireless Internet connection is available in the public areas of the hotel, and there is buffet breakfast for the early birds, served from 5 am until 10 am. Hotel amenities include a bar and garden, facilities and rooms for disabled guests, non-smoking rooms, family rooms, express check-in and check-out, heating, newspapers, and more. Services include fax/ photocopying and shoe shine. Internet is available free-of-charge. Pets are allowed at no additional cost.

The tourists, who want to feel the atmosphere of the old town, may choose from a large number of hotels in the very heart of Vienna. For instance, if you have made a long flyover to attend a performance in Vienna’s State Opera, perhaps you can afford an extra 179 Euro per night for a double room in the impressive, five-star Vienna Grand Hotel, located within a walking distance from the famous opera house, where you will enjoy services of outstanding quality – all rooms are large and soundproof, provided with all possible amenities you can expect from a five-star hotel. The rooms are equipped with magnetic keys, cable and satellite TV, desk, and extra towels and bedding. Iron and ironing board are available on request. Rooms are non-smoking only, but pets are accepted. Services include wireless Internet access, laundry facilities, and complimentary newspapers.

If you would rather go for a short rental, look at the Belvedere Studios. Prices start at 67 Euro, and the minimum rental is three days. The renovated apartment consists of a bedroom, kitchenette, and bathroom. It is fitted with a flat-screen TV, mini fridge, microwave, coffee and tea making facilities, dishwasher, washing machine, air conditioning, and a bathtub. The studio can accommodate up to four guests. Smoking is not allowed and pets are not accepted. The apartment is easy to get to, and at a walking distance from the Belvedere Palace, Ringstrasse, the Austrian Art Gallery, and the Botanical Gardens.

Needless to say, all of the abovementioned hotels and hostels are perfectly connected in the Vienna’s public transport system, including the subway.
