Trevi Fountain - Trevi Fountain information and pictures

Trevi Fountain is probably the most famous and the largest fountain in Rome. Trevi Fountain was created by Nicola Salvi and was completed in 1762. The design is based on Bernini’s earlier project which was abandoned after the death of Pope Urban VIII.

Trevi Fountain depicts Neptune, the sea god, in a chariot pulled by seahorses. They are guided by tritons - mythological sea creatures.

There is a legend that if you toss a coin with your right hand standing with your back to the Trevi fountain you will return to Rome so make sure you don’t forget that.

Go to Trevi early morning, 3am, there is nobody there... so nice to have it all alone.
