Tate Modern – Located on the south bank of Thames Tate Modern inhabits former Bankside power station. Tate Modern is a gallery of international modern and contemporary art created in the year 2000.
The collections in Tate Modern are organized by theme which is quite unusual - Landscape/environment/matter, Still Life/Object/Real life, Nude/Action/Body, History/Memory/Society. It is an interesting approach by the modern artists always trying to challenge the tradition.
The Millenium bridge conveniently connects Tate Modern with the north bank and
St.Paul’s Cathedral. It is a pedestrian only bridge built in 2000.
