Supreme Court of Canada is very close to the Parliament Hill. It was built in 1946 and two statues, "Justicia" (Justice) and "Veritas" (Truth), were erected on the steps of the building. The Supreme Court building was designed in art deco style by Montreal architect Ernest Cormier.

The Supreme Court is the highest court of appeal for criminal and civil cases in Canada.

The Main Courtroom, is 12 by 16 metres and has black walnut walls, six windows, each seven metres in height. The courtroom is equipped with simultaneous interpretation equipment.

Opening Hours: May 1st to August 31st, daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m
September 1st to April 30th, daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m
