The Ritz Hotel located at the world-famous Place Vendôme; The atmosphere is fantastic by anyone’s admission. The downside? Two drinks at the Hemingway Bar cost 60 Euros, but you may find it worth the splurge. You might as well get a room at the Ritz while you’re at it. The rates run from 770 Euros a night for the Superior Room to 2900 Euros for the Deluxe Suite. No, this is not the most expensive hotel in Paris, but it is up there. The Deluxe is truly something, with an area of 80 square meters and a bird’s eye view of the Vendôme gardens. The premises feature soothing pastel tones and luxury bathrooms complete with sauna and Jacuzzi.

Another elegant downtown option is the Paris Marriott Hotel on the Champs-Elysees for 359 Euros per night. This is for the standard room. The select rooms cost 439 a night. The Marriott features a fitness center and saunas, a casual yet elegant onsite restaurant offering tantalizing French cuisine, the Bar Atrium in the foyer with a view of the Champs-Elysées, a business center with an area of 600 square meters, and more.

Time for a reality check. The Hotel du Commerce is a pleasant accommodation property, conveniently located between two prime attractions – Notre Dame and The Pantheon. This budget hotel is situated in the heart of the Latin Quarter. It offers 32 fully renovated rooms. The price ranges from 39 Euros a night for a single room to 99 a night for a double and a quadruple room. Surprisingly, the staff at the reception desk speaks English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Italian, and even Czech. They will be happy to give you directions and make bookings for excursions, restaurants and shows. Among the hotel amenities are safe, fax, and luggage room. Internet is also available free-of-charge. The dining area is equipped with cooking facilities while the reception is open 24/7.

The Central Hotel, another excellent budget choice, lies in the vicinity of Montparnasse. It overlooks a nice, quaint garden. The price ranges from 60 Euros a night for a single room to 115 a night for a superior triple room. While this is the public rate, guests who reserve online get discounts on these prices. A single room will cost 50 Euros, and a superior triple room is offered at just 95 Euros. The rooms are fitted with direct phone, TV, and other needed amenities.

Some popular hotels near the Charles De Gaulle Airport include Pullman Paris, the Sheraton, the Hilton, the Novotel, and the Millennium. Pullman is less than a kilometer away from the airport. The rates start at 88 Euros per room per night. Featured services include Wi-fi Internet, tourist information desk, currency exchange, safe deposit box, dry cleaning and ironing. Babysitting is available on request. Guests who arrive by car can use the private indoor parking and valet parking of Pullman Paris. Business guests are also taken care of. There aren’t too many theme hotels even in Paris. Hotel Seven, however, is one of the few such establishments. So, which is the most expensive hotel in Paris? That would be the Hotel Meurice. Its Belle Etoile Suite costs 8,400 Euros per night. It is fabulous, yes. But, having paid that, would you sleep at all?
