Fairmont Château Laurier is a magnificent limestone building renowned as one of Canada’s finest hotels, and is situated in the heart of Ottawa. You are greeted by the enchanting, almost fairytale aesthetic of the building, with its monumental size, turrets and traditional masonry which will lead you to reminisce about grand French château. The Fairmont Château Laurier Hotel was built between 1909 - 1912 across the street from the Ottawa's Union Station (now the Government Conference Centre).

In 1999, the hotel was renamed to Fairmont Château Laurier after Canadian Pacific Hotels & Resorts acquired Fairmont Hotels.
